How to use Emphasis Lines Studio
Create reusable focus-line assets for thumbnails, comics, slides, and social posts without uploading your source image. The editor supports four line styles, transparent line-only output, positioning, color, taper, density, and repeatable random patterns.
Practical workflow
- Choose Composite image to place lines over a JPEG or PNG, or Lines only to create a transparent asset.
- Select Basic, Hand-drawn, Radial, or Speed, then adjust line count, width, center, aperture, and randomness.
- Inspect the result at the intended crop and export PNG or SVG. Keep important faces and text clear of dense lines.
Accuracy and limitations
The result is generated with HTML Canvas, so very large exports depend on available device memory. Browser previews may look slightly different after another editor resizes or compresses the image. Generated assets may be used commercially without attribution, but the tool itself and unmodified asset packs may not be redistributed.
Privacy and data handling
Uploaded images and line settings are processed locally in the browser. They are not sent to KatakataLab. Analytics can record ordinary page-view information, but not the image content you edit.
Why this page exists
KatakataLab publishes small browser tools built from recurring design and development tasks. This English page is maintained as a complete entry point, not as an automatic translation or a doorway page. If a control, explanation, or result is unclear, use the contact page and include the tool name, browser, and expected result without sending confidential input.
For another workflow, browse the English tool index or switch to the Japanese version.
